Why we built this
I went through the immigration process myself. Moving to Canada with my family was one of the biggest decisions of our lives, and the CLB language requirement was one of the most stressful parts of that journey. Finding quality, affordable practice material that actually reflected the CELPIP format was harder than it should have been.
I built CLB Boost because I did not want other newcomers to face the same frustration. If I can use my background in software engineering to make this process a little less daunting for someone else, that feels like the right thing to do.

Hi, I am Carlos — a Colombian software engineer who immigrated to Canada with my family. I love dogs, I love building things, and I care deeply about helping other people who are walking the same path I walked.
My mission with CLB Boost is to lower the barriers for fellow newcomers and migrants who are working toward their dream of building a life in Canada. The CLB requirement does not have to be the hardest part of that journey. Let's get through it together.
